Goal-oriented Movement Therapy
- In the heated TPM cabin, you perform specific, goal-oriented and
medically justified muscle movements. You do so in a horizontal
position, thereby relieving your back and joints. The heat in
the cabin prevents sore muscles and stimulates the circulation
in your body and muscle tissues.
- The exercises are designed to suit both young and old and do not involve any risks.
- Your guided exercise programme is personalised, based on your weight,
age, condition, health and your figure analysis.

The blood circuit is stimulated.

- Muscles and other active systems and organs improve
tremendously when food and oxygen are provided.
- Waste matter and lactic acid, formed through active
muscles is easier broken down and exported quicker, but can
result in stiff muscles.
- The pores of the skin widen, which is beneficial when
secreting the waste material via the skin (sweat) after
which the waste material is exported via urine.

10 advantages of physical activity on the body! |
| |
- Muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints are strengthened.
- Strengthening of the bones. Through regular exercise on the legs long-term calcium loss is prevented.
- The heart works more economically so that its capacity remains constant (the amount of blood the heart pumps around
the body), and the heart rate levels out (beats per minute).
- Stamina improves, which means that exertion can be kept up for longer.
- Burning off bodily fats is stimulated. When bodily fats are burned off they serve as a source of energy for active
muscles.
- Blood pressure drops.
- Reduction in cholesterol content in the blood (called LDL cholesterol).
- General health is improved making it easier to fight off sickness (prevention from heart and vascular diseases with
less susceptibility towards illness).
- Regular exercise slows down the ageing process (for example a 60-year-old can easily match the fitness of a
30-year-old).
- Psyche A general feeling of well-being (being less sensitive to mood swings with more energy and the feeling
that everything runs smoother).
